St andrew, timberland
St. Andrew’s Parish Church dates back to Saxon times and rests in a prominent position at the southern end of the village on an elevated piece of land.

It is visible for a great distance in every direction and the view from its tower is worth a tricky climb through the six bells which are rung regularly by a local team of ringers based in Martin.

The organ is a rare Harrison and Harrison which is played at each service.
